Parksmart Certification
Parksmart Certification is feasible for new and existing structured parking facilities of many types, including commercial, academic, municipal, hospital, retail, and hotel. Projects might be stand-alone or part of a mixed-use structure. Projects have five years to achieve their certification.
New construction projects, or projects finished and commissioned within two years of registration, are eligible for Bronze, Silver, or Gold certification. They must score at least 20 points in each of the three major certification categories.
Bronze (110-134 Total points achieved).
Silver (135-159 Total points achieved).
Gold (160+ Total points achieved).
Existing projects are those that were finished and commissioned more than two years before registration. They are eligible for Pioneer certification and must score at least 15 points in each of the three major certification areas.
